Data We Collect

This website has no accounts and asks nothing of you while you read it. Data reaches the agency in three ways: when you write, call or message the office, when you send the enquiry form on this site, and through the site's own usage measurement, described below.

• Contact details you send: name, email address, telephone number, the company or group you represent.
• Trip details you send: dates, number of travellers, guiding language, region, hotel standard, and requests such as dietary needs or reduced mobility.
• Booking data for travellers on a confirmed trip: the names, document details and other information hotels, airlines and transport suppliers require.
• Billing data: the invoicing name, address and tax number a Spanish invoice needs.

Health and dietary information counts as sensitive. We ask for it only when a booking needs it, we pass on the minimum a supplier requires, and we delete it when the trip closes.

How We Measure the Site

The agency runs Umami on its own server rather than sending visitors to a third party analytics company. It works without cookies and without a login, and it records the page you opened, the site you arrived from, the country, the browser and the screen size. It builds no profile, and it cannot follow you to any other website.

An internet address is personal data under the GDPR, so it is worth saying that Umami uses one to work out a country and to tell one visit from another, and does not store it. Browsers that send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal are respected, and blocking third party scripts stops the measurement entirely, leaving the site fully usable.

The Enquiry Form

The form on this site sends what you type to info@lasirenavacations.com and nowhere else. It reaches the office as an ordinary email, with your address set as the reply address so we can answer you. Delivery runs through Resend, an email sending service acting as our processor. Resend handles the message in transit and does not use it for anything else.

The form stores no cookie and asks for no sign-in. To stop automated abuse, the server counts recent submissions per internet address for a short period. An internet address is personal data under the GDPR, so we say so here. That count lives in memory, it is never written to a database, and it disappears within minutes.

You do not have to use the form. The office email address and both telephone numbers appear on every page, and an enquiry sent that way reaches the same inbox.

Why We Hold It

We hold your data to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote, to enter into and perform the travel contract, to pass the bookings to the hotels, coach companies, guides and other suppliers the trip needs, and to meet the accounting and travel agency obligations Spanish law places on the business.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. We share it with the suppliers a booking requires and with the agency's accountant, and beyond that only where the law requires. A trip outside the European Economic Area means the details go to suppliers in that country, which is the only way the booking can exist.

Enquiry correspondence that leads nowhere is deleted once it stops being useful. Booking and invoicing records stay for the periods Spanish commercial and tax law set.

Your Rights Under the GDPR

You may ask for access to the data we hold about you, for correction of anything wrong, for erasure, for restriction of processing, for a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect what happened before.

Send the request to info@lasirenavacations.com, or by post to the Valencia address above. We may ask you to prove who you are before we act, so that nobody else obtains your data.

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
